Following the 2000 Regional Conferences, a steering committee was created to provide oversight of and direction to the Impact Leadership program. To ensure quality and unbiased input, this committee is comprised of alumni volunteers, undergraduates, staff, and non-members. The committee's first step was the creation of a strategic plan to provide the integration of the entire Impact Leadership program into the General Fraternity's Mission.

The Impact Leadership Steering Committee has taken its charge very seriously, conducting meetings and multiple conference calls. This energy has led to the creation of a strategic plan. This plan contains four major objectives: addressing the development, integration, promotion, and evaluation of the Impact Leadership Program.

The Impact Leadership Strategic Plan and objectives are designed to fully integrate the Impact Leadership Experience with the General Fraternity's strategic plan.
