High Pi
The selection of a High Pi (chapter adviser) is based on confidence that an alumni brother's experience and wisdom will enrich the operations of a chapter and serve as an example to the young brothers who he will advise. This position will provide an opportunity to nurture the skills of the officers with whom he will work while simultaneously allowing the High Pi to impact their personal growth and development. This is a remarkable opportunity for an alumni brother to not only enhance the success of a chapter’s programs and operations, but also to impact the lives of young brothers who will look to the High Pi for advice, support, and direction. The High Pi's example will provide an important role model for these men and will be a concrete testimony that Lambda Chi Alpha is a lifetime commitment to our brotherhood and its ideals. The High Pi should be mindful that his behavior and attitudes will always be a focus of scrutiny for the undergraduate brothers who he advises. The most important influence will derive from the way in which the High Pi demonstrates the impact of Lambda Chi Alpha’s values and ideals on his life and on his relationships with the brothers. The High Pi needs to be prudent, thoughtful, sensitive, and fair as he approaches the responsibilities of his position. Most importantly, he must remember that the impact of his brotherly love will ultimately define his success as an adviser and his own continued growth as a True Brother in ZAX.
