erau_db_bannerlogo_0811The men of Sigma-Phi have continued to live the values of Lambda Chi Alpha and have made tremendous improvements in chapter operations. Since being on probation, the chapter came together, focused on eradicating their poor operations and working with their Alumni Control Board to concentrate on building a strong Brotherhood. With the help of local alumni, the chapter has made tremendous progress in evaluating the men they are recruiting as well as their Fraternity Education program. We are looking for additional alumni to assist the officers and help put the post-graduation Lambda Chi Alpha experience in perspective. If you’re looking to give a few hours a month to a group that is trending upward, now is the time to get involved and help this chapter win the Phoenix Award in 2018!

What Does The AAB Do?

The Alumni Advisory Board’s (AAB’s) primary mission is to assist with the week-to-week operations of a chapter or colony and mentor our members to ensure their future success.

  • AAB members are asked to make a two-year commitment, during which time each member will be asked to attend meetings each semester, meet with officers, interact in a face-to-face capacity and hold regular phone calls with the officer(s) they advise.
  • Regardless of initiated Zeta, alumni play a crucial role in the development and longevity of our chapters and our members. In order to be successful, it is critical to have alumni actively involved to advise the officers and personify our motto of “A Lifetime of True Brotherhood.”

Lambda Chi Alpha’s vision is to lead a co-curricular Greek movement, predicated on partnership and collaboration amongst the undergraduates, host institutions, alumni and General Fraternity, and to offer an experience that focuses on the maturational development of today’s college man. As such, it is the vision of Lambda Chi Alpha to extend itself beyond the traditional social fraternity in practice and principle.
