Texas A&M University – Kingsville

texas amThe Beta-Epsilon Zeta has been directed by the Grand High Zeta to go through a “Re-Chartering Process” that will require the chapter to meet all 11 Operating Standards by April 2017. Currently, the chapter is meeting only 4. The chapter has seen minimal growth in membership and a very basic understanding of chapter operations. This process is aimed at developing a stronger sense of operations and an opportunity to provide greater resources from the International Headquarters and campus. The Alumni Advisory Board’s (AAB) role will be to pair each officer position with an alumnus to work toward completion of the Operating Standards and to support the overall growth of the chapter.

What Does The AAB Do?

The Alumni Advisory Board’s (AAB’s) primary mission is to assist with the week-to-week operations of a chapter or colony and mentor our members to ensure their future success.

  • AAB members are asked to make a two-year commitment, during which time each member will be asked to attend meetings each semester, meet with officers, interact in a face-to-face capacity and hold regular phone calls with the officer(s) they advise.
  • Regardless of initiated Zeta, alumni play a crucial role in the development and longevity of our chapters and especially our colonies. In order to be successful, it is critical to have alumni actively involved to advise the officers and personify our motto of “A Lifetime of True Brotherhood.”
