UCSD-logoThis group of young men have continued to perform at a high level since chartering. Unfortunately, one area where they need assistance is alumni support and guidance. In recent years, Pi-Beta has won campus awards including: Chapter of the Year, Outstanding Chapter Service, and Best New Member Programming. The chapter has performed well operationally, but could use some assistance from men who have lived Lambda Chi Alpha post-graduation and can help put the Lambda Chi Alpha experience in perspective. If you’re looking to give a few hours a month to a group that is trending upward, now is the time to get involved!

What Does The AAB Do?

The Alumni Advisory Board’s (AAB’s) primary mission is to assist with the week-to-week operations of a chapter or colony and mentor our members to ensure their future success.

  • AAB members are asked to make a two-year commitment, during which time each member will be asked to attend meetings each semester, meet with officers, interact in a face-to-face capacity and hold regular phone calls with the officer(s) they advise.
  • Regardless of initiated Zeta, alumni play a crucial role in the development and longevity of our chapters and our members. In order to be successful, it is critical to have alumni actively involved to advise the officers and personify our motto of “A Lifetime of True Brotherhood.”

Lambda Chi Alpha’s vision is to lead a co-curricular Greek movement, predicated on partnership and collaboration amongst the undergraduates, host institutions, alumni and General Fraternity, and to offer an experience that focuses on the maturational development of today’s college man. As such, it is the vision of Lambda Chi Alpha to extend itself beyond the traditional social fraternity in practice and principle.
