Lambda Chi Alpha Announces Four New Grand High Zeta Board Members

Lambda Chi Alpha is pleased to announce the addition of four new Grand High Zeta Board members.

Matt Sheehan (Missouri State)- Grand High Sigma 

Matt Sheehan is a senior at Missouri State University studying Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Spanish. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri Matt is a die-hard Blues and Cardinals fan, while also being a WWE fanatic. Matt joined Beta-Psi Zeta as a freshman and has held the offices of Conclave Chairman, High Theta and High Alpha. Matt is determined to spend his year as Grand High Sigma benefiting the General Fraternity and making positive changes to create a better future for the Brothers and Chapters to come. Brother Sheehan plans to work as a news reporter/anchor after college, and has goals to have his own television news show one day, become a renowned public speaker, while also creating his own non-profit.

 

Abe Hester (North Texas Colony)- Grand High Theta

Abron Hester is a senior at the University of North Texas studying Political Science and Integrative Studies (with focuses in English, Philosophy and Peace Studies) with minors in History and Military Science and certificates in Legal Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies. He is originally from Mannheim, Germany and moved to Harker Heights, Texas in 2002. He has had the honor of serving the Iota-Zeta Colony as the Social Media Chair as well as being a key member of the recruitment committee. Last year he served as the Chief of Staff for the Student Government Association and the Public Affairs Officer for the Army ROTC Detachment, and this year serves as the President of UNT Debate, and an ROTC executive officer and believes these skills will help him approach the challenge of serving as the Grand High Theta. Following graduation he hopes to attend law school as the first step towards a legal career and serve his country as an Air Defense Artillery officer in the Army National Guard.

 

Keegan McAdam (Washington State)- Grand High Nu

Keegan McAdam is a senior at Washington State University pursuing a Business Administration major with a Marketing focus as well as a Communication minor. He is originally from Seattle, Washington and serves as the Pacific Northwest representative on the Student Advisory Committee. Keegan also serves on the Board of Directors as the Grand High Nu, communicating legislative matters to the undergraduates of Lambda Chi Alpha. He has had the honor of serving his chapter (Tau) as their Brother High Alpha (President), Brother High Tau (Treasurer), and by attending the 2015 & 2017 Stead Leadership Seminars as their chapter delegate. Keegan currently works for the Washington State University Foundation and plans to pursue a career in Educational Advancement and Development.

 

Kevin O’Hare (Tampa Colony)- Grand High Psi

Kevin O’Hare is a native of Tampa, Florida attending the University of Tampa studying Government & World Affairs. Ever since a young age, Kevin has been involved in his local community through civic engagement and political participation and values the concept of servant leadership. He joined Lambda Chi Alpha in the Fall of 2015 as a founding father of the Tampa Colony and served as the first High Alpha and later as their High Iota. He has also served in various roles within UT’s Fraternity and Sorority Life and is wrapping up his term on the Interfraternity Council Executive Board. Outside of Lambda Chi Alpha, Kevin works for the PEACE Volunteer Center, which is the University’s student-run volunteer center for direct and indirect service as their director of communications. After college, Kevin wishes to pursue a career in public policy or government affairs.
