A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING 50 YEARS
OF THE STUDENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on September 1, 1970, the 32nd General Assembly of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity demonstrated unique leadership in the fraternal world by establishing the Student Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, since its establishment the nearly 800 members who have served with distinction on the Student Advisory Committee have represented the interests of our undergraduate members, have provided advice and counsel to the Grand High Zeta, and have advanced the interests of our Fraternity and its members;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Grand High Zeta, in meeting duly convened on July 17, 2020, that the Fraternity celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the Student Advisory Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fraternity recognizes the visionary leadership and commitment to brotherhood demonstrated by the leaders of the Fraternity who initiated and promoted the establishment of the Student Advisory Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fraternity does express its utmost appreciation and gratitude to those Brothers who have served on the Student Advisory Committee through the years for their selfless dedication and loyalty to Lambda Chi Alpha and for their having added tremendously to our success, our growing heritage, and our future.
