Colin D. Nelson-Pinkston – Chairman
Iota-Chi Zeta, University of Iowa
Colin Nelson-Pinkston is a Police Officer with the University of Iowa Police Department (UIPD), where he is assigned to the University of Iowa Health Care Day Patrol. Before joining law enforcement, he spent eight years working with college students and fraternity and sorority communities on 87 campuses. He also served as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Lambda Chi Alpha, traveling throughout the southern United States to support existing chapters and establish new associate chapters. Colin earned bachelor's degrees in Spanish and International Studies from the University of Iowa and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Southern Methodist University.
Colin has been an active volunteer leader for Lambda Chi Alpha for more than a decade. He has served as an Advisory Board member and High Pi for Iota-Chi Zeta, an Advisory Board member for Iota-Zeta Zeta, and has contributed as a facilitator for High Zeta Summit, Neville Advisors College, General Assembly, and Stead Leadership Seminar. He has also served on the International Ritual Team, the Grand High Zeta's Nominating and Awards Committees, and numerous membership review panels. In 2026, he was elected Chairman of the International Zeta Advisory Council.
In addition to his service to Lambda Chi Alpha, Colin has volunteered with several interfraternal organizations, including Delta Sigma Pi, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Alpha Sigma Phi, Delta Gamma, Sigma Kappa, Chi Phi, and the North American Interfraternity Conference.
