The Leadership Skills Certification Academy (LSCA) is a program designed for the members of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity to enhance their leadership skills and improve their personal development. LSCA consists of a series of workshops, lectures, and team-building exercises aimed at providing participants with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to lead in their personal and professional lives.

LSCA covers a wide range of leadership topics including communication, ethics, critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving. Through interactive sessions, members learn about the importance of these skills and how to apply them in their daily lives. The program also focuses on developing the interpersonal skills necessary for effective teamwork and collaboration.

This new program is a valuable investment for members who want to develop their leadership skills and improve their personal development. The program is designed to be challenging and engaging, and participants are encouraged to take an active role in their learning journey. Members who successfully complete the program receive a micro credential for completing their modules, which can be directly reflected on their resumes and their LinkedIn profiles.

The addition of the Leadership Skills Certification Academy has been a game changer for our Chapter, Kappa-Phi Zeta, at Baldwin Wallace University. LSCA has been a great tool to prepare our Brothers to not only take full advantage of their resources of the Office of Administration to succeed in their officer positions, but to also succeed in life after college. The Leadership Skills Certification Academy has been a standout feature for me when applying for internships. I have gotten lots of questions about my completion of the program and interviewers have seemed impressed.

I decided to participate in LSCA in order to receive the certification badges to set myself apart in applications for jobs, internships, and other opportunities. These modules directly translate to skills that I can demonstrate for employers and makes it easier for my Brothers and me to explain the values of holding officer positions in our Fraternity. This has been a game changer when compared to other fraternity education programs.

In house, our officers have had a much easier time running their positions, thanks to LSCA. The Academy gives our officers the tools they need to become more self-sufficient and has helped me have more trust in my officers and has taken the weight off the shoulders of our standards chairman. LSCA provides practical skills for our officers to utilize when approaching philanthropy, recruitment, finances, and team leading.

In addition to LSCA, the introduction of the Ideal Man program has really helped guide education sessions within our Brotherhood for our newest Associate Members. This set of young men will be the first of our Brothers to go through our newly integrated education program, with Ideal Man modules being integrated within our education sessions. The Ideal Man program has allowed us to streamline the education process and give us a great starting point.

The Ideal Man program does not replace traditional education sessions, but rather it enhances the experience for our new members. We integrate our educational activities and have them work on the modules outside of education sessions. This way, the knowledge they take from those modules is strengthened and reinforced by our in-person activities. Both LSCA and Ideal Man have been a great addition to the new member experience for our Brothers!
