CARMEL, IN. – Lambda Chi Alpha, one of the largest fraternities in North America, and Henson Shaving, the producer of groundbreaking sustainable razors built using aerospace-grade metals for unmatched durability and precision, have partnered to raise awareness for men’s health and support charities of Lambda Chi.

“As an international fraternity, we’re on the front line of men’s health issues every day, facing everything from young men’s heightened risk of depression and suicide to higher rates of cancer,” said Justin Reed, Stewardship Officer and Chief Mustache Officer. “We are partnering with Henson Razors to provide our members with a fantastic product and support our initiatives to deliver lasting social and physical change to improve men’s health outcomes.”

“We’re honored by the opportunity to stand up for men’s health and support charitable giving through our partnership with Lambda Chi Alpha,” said Daniel Jantzi, CEO of Henson Shaving. “Lambda Chi Alpha’s Brothers deserve — and we’re proud to provide — the smoothest, most sustainable, and most affordable shave in the world.”

Henson Shaving’s all-metal construction and recyclable razors use blades that cost as little as ten cents each, resulting in an average blade cost of just $6 per year. The razors are also 100 percent metal, using aerospace-grade aluminum or titanium, which allows the handle and blades to withstand decades of daily use. This spares landfills from pounds of unrecyclable, short-lived plastic razors and cartridges. It also makes Henson Shaving’s razors a superior, more environmentally-friendly investment, especially when compared to mainstream cartridge razors that can cost over $100 per year.

In addition to supporting a philanthropic opportunity, Henson Shaving is hosting a Mustache Royale competition on Instagram for Lambda Chi Alpha members and alumni. The competition will award approximately 20 razors as prizes to the chapter that raises the most for Movember. Lambda Chi Alpha members and alumni can enter the competition by tagging Henson Shaving (@hensonshaving) and Lambda Chi Alpha (@lambdachialphaooa) in their posts and using the #MustacheRoyale in the caption before November 12.
