Lambda Chi Alpha is excited to announce the expansion of the Neville Advisor’s College (NAC) program, with a second conference set to take place on November 7—9 at the Dallas Renaissance Hotel. This additional conference will focus on new High Pis and their Advisory Boards, with the goal of equipping them with the tools, skills, and strategies they need to foster impactful and lasting mentoring relationships.
Over the past year, the Volunteer Support Team has recruited and certified over 300 new Advisors. Thanks to the generous donations of those who support the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation, the expanded training will effectively meet the growing demand for a structured advising program.
“Our vision is to empower local Zetas with greater autonomy. For this Member-centered approach to succeed, we must equip our Alumni Advisors with exceptional tools and training,” said Troy Medley, CEO, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. “Today’s students are actively seeking meaningful mentorship from those who’ve walked this path before them.
“The expansion of the Neville Advisor’s College directly addresses this need, ensuring our advisors can provide the guidance that transforms good chapters into great ones.”
Fall NAC25 will feature tracks specific to High Zeta Officers, panel discussions, and keynote speakers who are experts in mentoring and coaching. Attendees can expect to hear from current and former Advisors who will share their insights and trainers who will deliver operational programming in recruitment, finance, fraternity education, and health and safety.
Highlights of the event include:
- “Advising vs Doing: The Role of an Advisor” by Grand High Kappa, Dr. Rodney Roosevelt
- “Working with FSL: Building a Partnership with Your Fraternity-Sorority Life Office” by Anthony Mower, Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at the College of Charleston
- “Learning in LCA: Maximizing LCA Academy in the Chapter Experience” by Dr. Simon Taylor, Chief Learning Officer at Lambda Chi Alpha
“As we think about the long-term health of our Zetas, expanding the in-person training opportunities gives the power to affect positive change back to our local volunteers, ensuring that we’re equipping men to ethical lives of growth, service, and leadership,” said Scott Jackson, Grand High Gamma, Chair of Healthy Zeta Committee, Order of Merit.
