FOX 25-Boston Chief Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz (Cornell) Receives Top Broadcasting Award

On Nov. 30, alumni brother and FOX 25-Boston Chief Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz (Cornell) was presented with the Silver Circle Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at a ceremony in Boston.

Established in 1993, the Silver Circle Award honors veteran television professionals who have made significant contributions to their community for 25 years or longer. Honoring broadcast excellence and community contributions, these New England television pioneers join an array of illustrious talents who have set industry standards with distinguished service to the vitality of the television industry and a strong commitment to their craft.

He is a recognized certified broadcast meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society and has been nominated 14 times for an Emmy for New England’s Best Meteorologist. He is a strong supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and an active participant in the annual Walk to Cure Diabetes. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in meteorology and is married with two sons.
