Colby Harrell
Alpha-Gamma Zeta, University of South Dakota
Colby Harrell is a junior at the University of South Dakota pursuing dual majors in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Legal Studies of Business. He currently serves as High Alpha of the Alpha-Gamma Zeta and as Assistant Risk & Portfolio Manager for the University's Coyote Capital Management Fund, where he analyzes public companies and portfolio risk. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a JD/MBA with the goal of building businesses focused on long-term value creation and principled leadership.
Colby has held several chapter leadership positions, including High Sigma, High Rho, and High Theta, and has served on the Executive, Philanthropy, and Recruitment Committees. At the 61st General Assembly, he represented Alpha-Gamma Zeta as its Official Delegate and was elected to the International Zeta Advisory Council. He was subsequently elected Grand High Theta, serving as the undergraduate representative on the Grand High Zeta and helping represent the perspectives of undergraduate Brothers in the Fraternity's international governance.
Colby is passionate about strengthening chapter operations, academic excellence, alumni engagement, leadership development, and preserving the traditions of Lambda Chi Alpha. Outside of school and the Fraternity, he enjoys football, weightlifting, wrestling, golf, swimming, and spending time with his family on their South Dakota farm.
