At Lambda Chi Alpha, you don’t have to wait until Initiation to belong. From the moment you become an Associate Member, you have the rights and privileges of membership, including the ability to vote, hold office, and fully participate in Chapter life.
Equal From Day One
In 1972, Lambda Chi Alpha abolished pledging and introduced Associate Membership. Instead of asking new members to earn their place through a separate pledge experience, we welcome each Associate Member into the life of the Chapter from the beginning.

One ChapterAssociate Members learn, serve, and build lifelong friendships alongside initiated Brothers. They are part of the Chapter from day one.
