Omicron-Epsilon Zeta’s Second Annual Charity Golf Classic

The Second Annual Lambda Chi Alpha Charity Golf Classic, hosted by Omicron-Epsilon Zeta (San Diego Regional) on February 23, 2026 at El Camino Country Club, showcased the enduring impact of Brotherhood in action. Bringing together nearly 100 Alumni, Undergraduate Members, and veterans, the event raised more than $42,000 in support of Warrior for Peace Foundation—a nonprofit dedicated to providing restorative outdoor experiences for military veterans.

More than just a fundraiser, the tournament highlighted the strength of lifelong connections, with Alumni dating back to the 1970s reconnecting alongside today’s active Members. Brothers from more than seven Chapters were in attendance, reflecting the reach of Lambda Chi Alpha’s network, while undergraduate leadership played a central role in organizing and executing the event with strong Alumni support. The funds raised will directly benefit Warrior for Peace Foundation’s annual fishing experience, which serves hundreds of veterans and their families each year.

But beyond the numbers and turnout, the story behind this year’s event is one of vision, collaboration, and purpose—driven by student leadership and strengthened by Alumni mentorship. To hear that story firsthand, tune in to the full podcast episode featuring High Theta Gavin Shea (San Diego State, '28), who shares the motivation behind the tournament, how it came together, and what it represents for the future of Lambda Chi Alpha.
